VT007 vs VT003F

VT007 and VT003F are both linear vibration machines that use motor and eccentric wheels to generate high frequency vibration. Both machines have adjustable frequency and two amplitude setting. This comparison will help you better understand both machines.

VT007 is re-engineered from our popular model VT003F for better durability, performance and usability.

VT003F was originally designed by Jintuo Mechanical & Electrical Manufacturing Ltd back in 2014. SpecsPro acquired its design in 2018 and made many improvements. So far over 12000 units of VT003F have been sold in the US. Its performance, versatility, movement pattern and intensity have been approved as favorable and effective by most users.

As we continued to improve the quality and performance of VT003F, we came to a fundamental constrain of the original design: VT003F has too many parts for a machine that vibrate at high frequency. We decided to design a new model that is more reasonable.

After a year and half's efforts and many prototypes, we finished this re-engineering project, and launched the first production batch of VT007 in June 2021.

Usability Comparison

VT007's machine body is smaller and lighter because its control box is separated from the machine body. VT007's EVA mat sinks into the platform surface. This allows VT007 to provide a slightly larger flat work surface area.

VT007 is also designed shorter in height by lowering the motor / eccentric wheels assembly into the hole on the base plate.

VT007's work surface is entirely flat, compared with VT003F having 4 raised up caps covering the spring. This allows user to conveniently place other exercise equipment on top of the vibration machine, like placing the base plate of a X3 Bar system.

When a machine vibrates, impact and friction between assembled parts produce annoying high pitch mechanical noise. With reduced parts and assemblies, VT007 produces much less high pitch noise.

Better Performance and Durability

VT007 achieves slightly higher amplitude at the frequency above 30Hz. This is because the rubber springs have longer elasticity range, and the resonance frequency of the solid machine body is higher. This allow VT007 to achieve higher maximum G-force compared to VT003F.

The simplified structure and refined material increase the reliability and durability of VT007.

Control Box Issues

Control box is a weak link of this type of consumer grade machine.

Low grade electronic components, loose wiring, and cold joint soldering reduce the lifespan of the circuit, or easily fail the circuit on current surge.

For VT003F, the control box issue is the single major quality issue. 1.5% defective rate over the first year of use, mostly occur in the first 3 month.

For VT007, the control box does not vibrate with the machine, benefiting the circuit lifespan. The separated control box is made entirely by qualified EMS factory that has specialty equipment, process and testing lab to handle PCB application and assure the quality.

VT007 has not yet tested the market in large scale, but we expect it will do much better in terms control box quality. If the control box is damaged somehow. We can send in a new control box for easy replacement, just a plug-and-play.
