VT007 Controller Connection Issue
Upgrade The 2025 BLDC version of the VT007 (available only in North America) has a major upgrade. The standard DC motor of the previous version is replaced by a brushless motor, which provides longer lifespan, quieter operation, and precise speed control.
Misconnection However, the upgrade introduces a minor design flaw, as the control cable is changed from the previous 3 wires to the current 4 wires.
If the user disregards the instruction about how to connect the 4-pin plug to the socket, the controller may not be correctly connected to the motor, causing machine malfunction.

Key-n-Keyway A key-n-keyway mechanism is built in the connector to prevent misconnection.

Desgin Flaw However, the plug head is made of soft material for water-proof, so the user may forcefully insert the plug in a wrong orientation, mismatching the wiring. Therefore this key-n-keyway mechanisim may not effectively prevent the misconnection—a design flaw.
We will redesign the plug and socket in our next production batch to overcome this flaw.

Attention We advise the users to follow the illustration printed on the controller packaging and insert the plug in the correct orientation.

Thank you for working with us to overcome this design flaw.
